About The Position

At Navy Federal, we don't just offer internships—we launch careers. Our Procurement & Vendor Management (P&VM) team plays a critical role in helping the organization make smart, strategic decisions about how we buy goods and services. As an intern, you'll be part of a team that's shaping the future of sourcing and vendor partnerships. The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2026 and ending in August 2026. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university.
• Anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering (with a business/supply chain focus), or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with others.
• Analytical thinking skills and ability to dig into data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Running real sourcing events—from planning to vendor selection.
• Collaborating with business units to gather data and support RFx (Request for Proposal/Information/Quote) processes.
• Analyzing spending and performance data to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Learning from experts in sourcing, procurement, project management, and vendor operations.
