The Security Process Automation Team is part of the Navy Federal's Information Security Division within the Advanced Cyber Initiatives branch. Our mission is to enhance operational efficiency, resilience, and scalability across the Security Department by automating and optimizing key processes using Pega, a leading low-code platform. We design and implement intelligent workflows that reduce manual effort, accelerate response times, and ensure consistency across security operations. In addition to process automation, we are increasingly leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to drive smarter decision-making, predictive analytics, and adaptive workflows. By integrating AI into our automation strategies, we aim to proactively identify risks, streamline incident response, and improve overall security posture. The Summer Associate will play a key role in supporting these initiatives, gaining exposure to both low-code development and AI-enhanced cybersecurity solutions.
