About The Position

Weiss Asset Management (WAM), a Boston-based investment firm, invites applications for our Summer 2027 Investment Analyst Internships in Boston. As a summer analyst at WAM, you will collaborate closely with our investment team, which invests globally in equities, derivatives, and fixed income through fundamental and quantitative strategies. WAM offers two investment internship tracks, both of which participate in the same initial training and summer programming: Fundamental Investment Internship – Work closely with fundamental analysts on projects within our discretionary strategies. Applications are expected to go live in January 2026. Quantitative Investment Internship – Collaborate with quantitative analysts on projects aligned with our systematic strategies. Applications are expected to go live in March 2026. As a multi-strategy firm without a traditional pod structure, interns gain exposure to both fundamental and quantitative approaches, regardless of the interview track they choose.

Requirements

• Interest in investment analysis and financial markets.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or coursework in finance, economics, or related fields.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and investment strategies.
