About The Position

Our summer internship program provides students with hands-on professional experience, networking opportunities, and access to SC&H fun while honing essential skills for early career success. For 10-weeks spanning June to August, our interns work on diverse client projects and receive guided mentorship in one of our many unique service lines. Our internship is in-person at one of our offices 4x a week with an average work week of 30-32 hours. As a member of our Tax team, you will: Work on income tax returns for local businesses you see around the Baltimore area. Work on an entire income tax return from start to finish and not just a piece of a return. Be part of a tax return team along with managers and partners. Gain exposure to corporate, partnership and individual tax issues and compliance. Be exposed to different entity types and industries. Requirements: Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or other business-related field GPA of 3.5 or above Previous successful business experience; Public Accounting internship preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to produce an outstanding work product or deliverable Reliable transportation to our Hunt Valley, MD location and client sites as needed Skills: Exceptional integrity, values, principles, and work ethic Superb verbal communication, business writing, and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical, organization, and project management skills Willing to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment Tremendous attention to detail Professional demeanor Ability to excel in a team environment Ability to think independently An interest in professional development More information about our program and upcoming events can be found on our website here . Salary & Benefits The rate for this position is $30.00-$34.62 per hour. Salary offers are made based on a variety of candidate specific factors such as candidate's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations. Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or other business-related field
GPA of 3.5 or above
Previous successful business experience; Public Accounting internship preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to produce an outstanding work product or deliverable
Reliable transportation to our Hunt Valley, MD location and client sites as needed
