As a Valuation and Forensics Intern for Armanino’s Valuation and Forensics Practice, you’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside professionals at all levels that will provide you with insight into the fields of finance, accounting, forensic investigations, and litigation support. Your internship will give you the same exposure to Armanino as our Consultant hires, while participating in interactive and engaging programming! During your time you will also participate in training and activities to boost your skills and engagement. Summer Start Date: June 15, 2026 Job Responsibilities Valuation Support Assist in preparing business and intangible asset valuations for financial reporting, tax, transaction advisory, and strategic planning purposes. Perform financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and assessment of company performance and risk characteristics. Support the development of valuation models (DCF, market approach, income approach, option-pricing models, probability-weighted expected return models, Monte Carlo simulations, and other analyses). Conduct industry, economic, and market research to support key valuation assumptions. Help prepare draft valuation reports, exhibits, and supporting documentation. Forensic & Litigation Support Assist with forensic accounting procedures, including data reconciliation, trend analysis, and tracing of financial transactions. Support litigation engagements by analyzing financial and economic damages, lost profits, and valuation-related claims. Help compile and organize evidence, transaction data, and workpapers for expert reports and client deliverables. Participate in investigations by reviewing contracts, invoices, emails, and other communications when applicable. Client Engagement & Project Execution Collaborate closely with team members to deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment. Help maintain organized engagement files, documentation, and audit-ready workpapers. Contribute to client presentations through charts, summaries, and analysis of findings. Communicate proactively with engagement teams regarding status updates, questions, and workflow needs. Professional Development Learn and apply professional judgment, analytical techniques, and best practices within the valuation and forensics disciplines. Participate in intern training programs, team meetings, and firm-wide learning initiatives. Embrace Armanino’s core values, collaborative culture, and commitment to innovation and client service. Leverage the use of generative AI as necessary to improve workflows and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in accounting, finance, computational/mathematical finance, economics or related field and a graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027 strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated prior interest and/or coursework in corporate finance, valuation, pre-law, forensic investigations, or quantitative finance
