About The Position

PSEG is looking for a Summer 2026 Technical Intern for the Benchmarking Team. This job involves working as a support function to the Benchmarking and Utility Culture Teams by assisting with survey development, data collection, and analysis to help deliver high-quality industry studies. They will also contribute to report preparation, team discussions, and project coordination to ensure smooth execution of benchmarking initiatives. This position will be Hybrid Flexible

Requirements

  • The successful incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in business, communications, engineering, data analytics or similar field and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029.
  • Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026.
  • PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
  • Incumbents must have completed freshman level course work for consideration.
  • Because this position will require traveling to various PSEG locations, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in PowerBI and/or Tableau
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Alteryx and/or Microsoft Access is beneficial but not mandatory

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creation and implementation of reports/ surveys
  • Support ad hoc survey process
  • Scrub data
  • Research new techniques/best practices for existing reports/ processes
  • Lead/ assist in creation of Power BI/ Tableau dashboards
  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from participating companies
  • Help prepare survey materials, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Participate in team meetings, webinars, and client discussions to capture key takeaways
  • Contribute to data quality checks and ensure accuracy in database entries
  • Support project management for culture events and programs.
  • Contribute to culture engagement projects - held both offsite and at various company locations
