What You Will Be Doing The Scotty Cameron Putter R&D Intern will support performance testing and product research initiatives at the Scotty Cameron Studio and the Titleist Performance Institute. In this role, you will help develop and validate performance test protocols for a variety of putter research initiatives. You will assist in designing and executing both robot and player testing using several measuring devices to verify performance metrics and differences. You will also contribute to performance evaluations of new and existing Scotty Cameron putters, benchmarking results against competitor products to better understand key performance metrics. Throughout the internship, you will collaborate cross-functionally and apply engineering principles to real-world product development, gaining hands-on experience in research, testing, and innovation within a premium performance brand.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with SolidWorks or related CAD software strongly preferred
  • Experience with MATLAB and Python for data analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in product performance testing and data interpretation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Passion for golf and an interest in performance product innovation (preferred)
