The position involves providing support to the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team by actively contributing to the advancement of the Safety Management System (SMS). The candidate will collaborate with SMS element champions to drive continuous improvement across all safety elements. Additionally, the role requires proactively identifying ergonomic risks and implementing solutions to minimize physical strain, including the design or modification of workstations, tools, and work methods to eliminate excessive exertion, awkward postures, and repetitive motions. The candidate will also lead initiatives to minimize waste in the production process through data analysis, hands-on investigations, and Lean Manufacturing tools. Supporting the integration of new and revised R&D formulations into the manufacturing process is also a key responsibility, along with applying the 5S methodology to organize workspaces and enhance workflow. Conducting method studies on existing job processes to identify opportunities for improvement is essential for enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
