We have an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2026 Mechanical Engineer Intern to join the JETSII contract! This is a temporary role not to exceed 13 weeks The Mechanical Engineer Intern will: Work alongside full-time engineers to troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and suggest design improvements. Assist JETS II Mechanical Engineers in developing CAD drawings, Fabrication drawings, Bid packages, Organization of project documents Assist in preparing and maintaining engineering records, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), test reports, and technical manuals Participate in team meetings and design reviews to learn how engineering decisions are made in a professional environment. Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university with a minimum of 45 credit hours
  • Minimum of 2.8 GPA
  • Some experience CAD Software
  • MS Office
  • Good Written and Oral Communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Current Student in Mechanical, Marine or Aerospace Engineering
  • Autodesk Inventor, Creo
  • Eager to Learn the Engineering workflow lifecycle
  • Mechanically Inclined and able to work in a team environment solve design problems

Responsibilities
