As a Mars Wrigley Packaging Co-Op, you will gain exposure to various areas. As a Packaging Engineer, you are responsible for leading and executing packaging innovation projects under the guidance of packaging associates, supporting ideation and realizing value leadership and cost savings goals, developing detailed packaging specifications to ensure quality materials and best value for money on all packaging components used at our facilities, co-packers, and co-manufacturers, performing packaging sustainability assignments to help meet Mars Wrigley sustainability goals, and collaborating with cross-functional team members including product development, equipment engineering, activity management, finance, industrial engineering, and others. The Mars Co-Op is a 7-month summer/fall program providing excellent depth of experience with various real-world Mars projects.

Requirements

• Students pursuing a Packaging Engineering degree.
• Eligible candidates must intern the summer prior to their final graduation date.
• Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
• Candidates must be responsible for personal transportation to and from the work site during the duration of the internship program.
