As a Mars Wrigley Packaging Co-Op, you will gain exposure to the following areas: As a Packaging Engineer Co-Op DS1, you are responsible for the below: Lead and execute packaging innovation projects under the guidance of Packaging Associates. Support ideating and realizing value leadership and cost savings goals. Develop detailed packaging specifications to ensure quality materials and best value for money on all packaging components used at our facilities, co-packers and co-manufacturers. Perform packaging sustainability assignments to help meet Mars Wrigley sustainability goals. Collaborate with cross functional team members including product development, equipment engineering, activity management, finance, industrial engineer and others. The Mars Co-Op is a 6 month summer/fall program providing excellent depth of experience with various real world Mars projects.

Requirements

  • Student earning a degree in Packaging Science/Engineering.
  • Passionate about packaging and the consumer products industry.
  • Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date.
  • Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
  • Eligible candidates will be responsible for personal transportation to and from work site during duration of the internship program.
