Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities: We are seeking students who are passionate about logistics to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. The 2026 Summer Internship Program is a 12 week long opportunity that will provide the intern with professional work experience, mentorship, and exposure to operations for MSC USA. In addition to the hands-on work assignments and projects, the intern will also increase their knowledge in shipping and logistics operations for a global organization. The Chicago office is located at 8725 W. Higgins Rd, Chicago IL 60631, and this role will be fully in-office.

Requirements

Must have valid work authorization. If under the age of 18 – you must have a workers permit.
Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours and a maximum of 29 hours per week.
Must be able to work during office hours, 9 AM – 5 PM during the internship period.
This role requires working on-site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday – there is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role.

Responsibilities

Provide support to various departments by performing administrative related tasks as needed
Prepare and review various documents and reports
Enter data efficiently and effectively
Perform other duties as assigned
Maintains good customer relationships with new and existing clients/vendors
