Participate in professional development. How You’ll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own GDIT is seeking a talented Jr. Research Analyst who is passionate about public/health policy. This individual must be motivated to deliver innovative capabilities that directly impact the government’s Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). A Day in the Life Performs administrative duties in support of a department or customer. Works on a short-term, seasonal basis. Performs research, analysis, development, and evaluation of systems, procedures, and data in assigned functional area Work remote with a team of professional spread across the United States. Conduct research in a wide variety of policy and coverage areas to assess potential risk and vulnerabilities in federal healthcare programs. Work with team to assess risk, develop mitigation strategies, and document and present findings to customer. Synthesize complex policy and regulatory guidance to develop recommendations, both written and verbal, to present to senior leadership.

  • Candidate should be pursuing a degree in Health Care Management or Public Policy at the Bachelor's, Master's or PhD level.

  • Applicants should have a minimum of one semester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes.
