Position : Summer 2026 Internship – Historic Sites Location: National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center, Wilberforce, Ohio Type: Paid Internship, $15/hour Schedule: Part-time, paid thirteen-week position starting on Monday, May 11- Friday, August 7, 2026. Notes on Schedule: Must be available weekdays, between 9am and 3pm, for a minimum of 8 hours per week and a maximum of 24 hours per week. Reports to: Interpretive Supervisor Application Period: Applications will be accepted until March 31, 2026. About Ohio History Connection: The Ohio History Connection, formerly the Ohio Historical Society, is a statewide history organization with the mission to spark discovery of Ohio's stories. Chartered in 1885, the OHC carries out history services for Ohio and its citizens focused on preserving and sharing the state's history. This includes housing the state historic preservation office, the official state archives, local history office and managing more than 50 sites and museums across Ohio. Summary: This position will work with the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center's Interpretive Supervisor to digitize lesson plans and activities created using materials from the Museum's Archives and Collections.
