About The Position

NewEdge Advisors is offering a dynamic Summer 2026 Internship Program designed to provide hands-on experience across key areas of our business. Interns will gain exposure to the financial services industry while contributing to meaningful projects that support our clients and internal teams. Internship opportunities are available in the following departments: Business Development Compliance Finance Marketing This program is ideal for motivated students seeking to develop professional skills, deepen industry knowledge, and explore career paths within a growing, client-focused organization. Location: New Orleans candidates preferred, but remote candidates may be considered as well. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (minimum of one year completed)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Strong sense of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred field of study: Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines
  • Prior internship experience or relevant coursework is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop a foundational understanding of NewEdge Advisors’ business model, brand and client service philosophy
  • Participate in department-specific projects, including research, analysis, and presentation of ideas and solutions
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to support business initiatives
  • Assist with tasks such as reporting, data analysis, marketing materials, and operational support depending on department placement
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to enhance communication and teamwork skills
  • Learn and utilize internal systems and tools to complete assignments efficiently
  • Contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating accountability, reliability and strong work ethics
