About The Position

The Summer 2026 Internship with the OPIS Strategic Insights Team at Dow Jones offers an opportunity to work as part of a global team responsible for strategic, long-term market forecasts for the chemical industry. Interns will support updates of chemical product supply/demand data and integrated long-term projections using advanced analytics and models, along with related publications. The internship runs from June 8, 2026, to August 14, 2026, and is based in the Houston, TX office.

Requirements

• Completed at least two years toward a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in English, written and spoken at a business level.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Python or familiarity with other languages/tools like R, SQL, and MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data and content updates and publications together with global team members.
• Provide support in gathering and auditing of input and output data.
• Help with the creation and setup of internal models and client deliverables.
