About The Position

You will work with various editors on a variety of stories—reporting and writing breaking news—on business and economic topics. This role is based in our New York City newsroom.

Requirements

• Completed at least two years towards your Bachelor’s degree.
• Journalism or writing experience, with stories that were published either in a university publication or during a previous internship.
• The ability to report and write clearly, concisely, and factually in a timely manner.
• An interest in business journalism.
• The ability to communicate with editors about the progress of your stories, and to participate in the editing process.

Responsibilities

• Report and write breaking news stories about business, finance, and the economy.
• Assignments will include different sectors such as technology, retail, real estate, banking, commodities, and personal finance.
• Help make Barron’s a go-to for readers looking for sharp analysis on daily news stories.
• Work with seasoned reporters with research and reporting on feature stories.
