We currently have an exciting career opportunity in our Stamford, CT office for Summer 2026 (~June-August). We are looking for Tax Summer Interns for our Transfer Pricing group to join our team! CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week. YOUR TEAM. Engagement Team: You will work closely on a team made up of other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. Industries: We serve a variety of clients across industries, including: Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (varies by office). Office: Our CohnReznick office comes with amenities and collaborative spaces. Performance Coach: Will meet with you to establish goals, provide feedback and support to guide you along your career path of choice; many of our current Senior Managers and Partners were once CR Associates themselves. YOUR ROLE. As a Transfer Pricing Tax Intern, you will be responsible for becoming familiar with current tax theories and laws and performing procedures in accordance with firm standards and in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Accounting Major (academic background including economics and transfer pricing preferred)
  • Strong research & technical writing skills
  • Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask
  • Have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to work in office at least 3 days per week
  • Able to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the national practice leader and other team members in preparing transfer pricing documentation
  • Undertake benchmarking financial returns of routine businesses, such as distributors, services providers, manufacturing companies, licensing arrangements, including making working capital adjustments
  • Analyze financial statements to determine financial ratios and application to benchmarking results, Financial statement/ business profit segmentation, where applicable
  • Attend detailed functional and risk analyses interviews with clients and take notes, ultimately writing up functional and risk analysis section of transfer pricing documentation reports
  • Analyze best methods to evaluate arm’s length nature of intercompany arrangements
  • Provide support in establishing templates and processes for existing deliverables, proposals, engagement letters, emails, etc.
  • Organize team share drive documents
  • Establish tracker on clients and opportunities
  • Work on other projects as assigned
  • Train for future full time employment on our Transfer Pricing team
  • Assist the team with daily client workflow.
