About The Position

Departments Include: Sales & Marketing Assist with CRM updates and lead tracking Support digital marketing and content creation Help prepare sales proposals and presentations Service Operations Observe diagnostic and repair processes Assist with work order documentation Support scheduling and workflow coordination Parts & Inventory Help with inventory counts and organization Assist with parts research and sourcing Support counter and warehouse operations Rental Services Assist with rental agreements and customer onboarding Support fleet tracking and utilization reporting Help coordinate equipment delivery and return Finance & Accounting Assist with invoice processing and reconciliation Support financial reporting tasks Conduct basic data analysis Human Resources Support recruiting and onboarding activities Assist with training coordination Help maintain employee records IT & Systems Assist with help‑desk support Support system updates and documentation Help troubleshoot hardware/software issues Safety & Compliance Assist with safety audits and inspections Help update safety documentation Support training and compliance tracking Knowledge and Skill Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy Ability to organize tasks, manage time, and follow instructions Willingness to learn technical concepts related to equipment, systems, or business processes Professionalism and reliability in a team environment Preferred Qualification(s) Prior exposure to mechanical, business, or technical environments Experience with data entry, customer service, or project coordination Education Requirements Currently enrolled in an accredited college or technical school Pursuing a degree or certificate in Business, Engineering, Marketing, IT, HR, accounting, Diesel Technology, or a related field appropriate to the internship department. Essential Job Functions Responsibilities vary by department but may include: Assisting with administrative tasks, documentation, and data management Supporting customer service activities such as scheduling, inquiries, or follow‑ups Participating in equipment, parts, or service workflow learning Conducting research and preparing reports or summaries Shadowing experienced team members to understand departmental operations Contributing to process improvement, marketing, or technical projects Leadership Responsibilities Demonstrate initiative and accountability in assigned tasks Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors Represent Stowers Machinery professionally when interacting with customers or partners No direct supervisory responsibilities Preferred Experience and Skills Customer service or retail experience Basic mechanical aptitude (for Service, Parts, or Rental placements) Experience with spreadsheets, databases, or digital tools Strong writing or presentation skills (for Sales, Marketing, HR, or Finance placements) Physical and Mental Requirements Requirements vary by department but may include: Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods Comfort working in office, shop, or warehouse environments Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. in Parts, Service, or Rental roles Attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive or technical tasks Mental flexibility to learn new systems, processes, and equipment Work Environment Office, shop, warehouse, or field settings depending on department Exposure to noise, machinery, and outdoor conditions in operational areas Standard business hours with potential for adjusted schedules based on department needs Collaborative, team‑oriented culture with mentorship and hands‑on learning
