Brown and Caldwell offers Summer Internship opportunities to spend a summer working with our team to support the Tech Services. We are seeking an individual interested in gaining practical, hands-on experience outside of the classroom. Requirements

  • Must be enrolled as a student seeking a degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, Hydrogeology, Biology, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
  • Must be enrolled for the 2025-2026 academic year and plan to continue in Fall 2026.
  • Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis, data assessment, data entry and formatting and organizing information for reports.
  • Perform basic treatability related laboratory testing using standard operating procedures and methods.
  • Help to maintain inventories for equipment and chemicals.
  • Perform routine calibration and maintenance for laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the laboratory health and safety plans and protocols.
  • Coordinate with the Laboratory Manager and Project Managers to manage and inventory equipment rentals.
  • Assist with data processing and reporting activities.
  • Follow all company safety and regulatory policies, including handling hazardous materials and wearing of proper PPE.
  • Manage and deliver assignments on time, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Complete an Internship Capstone project demonstrating skill development, learning, and accomplishments gained during the summer internship experience.
