Summer 2026 Intern – Private Client Team Location: Greenwood Village, CO (on-site & in-person) Duration: 10 weeks from May 27, 2026 to July 31, 2026 Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on academic level) Empower is a leader in financial planning and retirement solutions, committed to helping people achieve financial freedom. Program Overview Empower’s Summer Internship Program offers an immersive 10-week experience designed to develop rising professionals with an interest in financial services. Our interns thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment while gaining valuable insights into our business, culture, and mission. Each intern is paired with a dedicated manager, mentor, and executive sponsor, and will work on a meaningful summer project. This program includes: Hands on-experience with real business initiatives Exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams Networking opportunities Professional and personal development workshops At the conclusion of the internship, each intern presents their work to business leaders, showcasing the impact they’ve made. What you’ll do As a Private Client Team Intern, you will play an active role in advancing Empower’s Private Client initiatives through meaningful project work, team collaboration, and strategic analysis. Over the 10-week program, you will: Conduct a competitive analysis of private client offerings across the financial services industry to identify opportunities for Empower’s growth Participate in meetings with Private Client advisors and related functions to understand client engagement, service models, and career pathways Support the Private Client project team by developing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations that enhance client experience and retention What you bring We’re seeking college students who demonstrate a balance of technical aptitude, professionalism, and curiosity.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university (Bachelor’s or Master’s program)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Available for full 10-week program (May 27 – July 31, 2026)
• Must reside near or be able to reliably commute to Greenwood Village, CO. This is an in-person internship.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ChatGPT
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (CPT/OPT not supported)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
• Analytical and critical thinking mindset with attention to detail
• Professional curiosity and initiative to explore new tools and ideas
• Demonstrated accountability and follow-through on individual or team-based goals

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of academic progress toward a bachelor’s degree
• Expected to graduate and be available for full-time employment by mid-2027
• Preferred majors: Finance, Economics, Business, or other relevant fields
• Experience with competitive research, data analytics, or business intelligence tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to translate research into clear, practical applications
• Familiarity with financial planning concepts
