About The Position

As a Summer 2026 Intern - Manufacturing Operations at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) in the Ottumwa, IA facility, you will be a part of the beverage revolution! You will be working in a challenging manufacturing environment that produces some of KDP's most recognized beverages in the industry. Requirements

• Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Industrial Engineering or another Manufacturing-related field.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and adapt to changes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, Lean practices, writing standard work and creating new processes.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge in executing operational plans and projects, including DMS (Daily Management Systems) for day-to-day operations, new equipment startups, and innovative product qualifications.
• Assist with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation and Lean activities, including participation in Continuous Improvement or Kaizen events and developing, implementing and improving autonomous and preventive maintenance workstreams.
• Create Standard Work Instructions for Start Up and Shut Down Procedures per manufacturing lines.
• Analyze downtime data and maintain action plans using lean methodology.
• Recommend methods for improving efficiency by auditing CIL and CL processes.
• Report and Analyze data with Power BI and MicroStrategy.

Benefits

• $31.00/ hour paid bi-weekly.
• $2,500.00 Sign-on Bonus, paid within first 30 days of employment.
