We are seeking qualified software developers to support research and development in the area of advanced logistics incorporating state of the art scheduling and simulation techniques. A successful applicant will design, develop, and build innovative user-centered solutions to be used daily by logistics modelers and schedulers in the U.S. Government. You will be exposed to all aspects of software engineering including work-centered and cognitive engineering design techniques and will be applying new technologies to develop next-generation capabilities for decision support systems. You will help design and develop software tools for both research and operational projects, requiring team members capable of the focus and discipline necessary to prepare tools for widespread use in the Department of Defense.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Applied Computer Science. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026.
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in Java and other programming languages such as Python, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Git and Gradle
  • Active US Government security clearance
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated work skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
