About The Position

SanDisk products must be thoroughly validated to ensure they meet OEM-level quality and performance standards. We are looking for a motivated intern who is eager to learn about NVMe SSD system design, firmware algorithms, and modern validation methodologies. This role will support the creation and execution of firmware verification plans and help improve overall validation efficiency.

Requirements

  • Pursuing BS in CE, EE, or related field.
  • Knowledge in software programming in Python, Networking protocols
  • Programming knowledge & debugging skills in Python, C and C++.
  • Fundamentals of electrical engineering principles, CMOS etc.
  • Able to develop key relationships.
  • Be able to work in pressure for quick resolution and delivery

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing firmware design verification plans for NVMe SSD products.
  • Work closely with validation engineers to support feature verification throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Write scripts and tools using modern object-oriented programming languages to automate validation tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Perform failure analysis on issues discovered during validation testing and help identify potential root causes.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of storage protocols (e.g., NVMe) and NAND Flash memory operation to support debugging and testing activities
