Brown and Caldwell offers Summer Internship opportunities to spend a summer working with our team to support the Pacific. We are seeking an individual interested in gaining practical, hands-on experience outside of the classroom. We invite you to embrace your possibilities and join us to learn and develop with our team of nationally recognized experts! Detailed Description: How Will You Make an Impact?:

  • Collaborate closely with people managers, project managers, engineers, scientists, and multidisciplinary teams to support projects in water, wastewater, drinking water, environmental engineering, design, sustainability, climate mitigation, and more.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical deliverables including but not limited to calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, and memoranda.
  • Potential to participate in field work and site visits to support project design, construction, and data collection activities.
  • Perform data entry, analysis, and visualization to support engineering and scientific evaluations.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy by adhering to Brown and Caldwell's QA/QC processes and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to coordinate project tasks and deliverables.
  • Support engineering services during construction by reviewing submittals, conducting inspections, and verifying conformance with plans and specifications.
  • Manage and deliver assignments on time, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Complete an Internship Capstone project demonstrating skill development, learning, and accomplishments gained during the summer internship experience.
  • To qualify for an internship, you must be enrolled as a student seeking a degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • You must be enrolled for the 2025-2026 academic year and plan to continue in Fall 2026.
  • You also must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
