What You'll Experience: Over 10 weeks, you'll be immersed in ALSAC's culture and work alongside passionate professionals. Internship Details: Dates: June 1 - August 7, 2026 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday) Pay: $14/hour Location: Headquarters Office in Memphis, TN Application Process: After you submit your application and if eligible, you will be sent an email to complete a virtual video interview from HireVue. To support this effort, our office is comprised of Data & Analytics Enablement and Data Science & Insights teams that strive to make data fit for purpose. We provide actionable information that drives decision-making across the enterprise through statistical modeling and comprehensive data storytelling. We also leverage internships to scale our impact as we work closely with our business partners. This is a highly sought-after position. Anyone who is awarded this position will be expected to contribute to team projects while maintaining their current educational load.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college/university or May 2026 graduate
  • Passionate about our mission
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Comfort in presenting to executive level team members; good communication and storytelling skills
  • Data management and analytic skills with attention to detail
  • Collaboration, organization, and time management skills
  • Eager to contribute & not shy about sharing thoughts with the team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint), SQL Server

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with technologies and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Python are a plus. Exposure to M/L and statistical analysis is also a plus but not required.
  • Python, Tableau & Data Catalog
  • Preferred majors: computer or data science, statistics, or management information systems, or other related majors
  • Majors preferred: Business Administration, MIS, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science

Responsibilities

  • Guided activities: Support data-related projects by
  • identifying user needs
  • collecting data
  • performing data analysis
  • visualizing insights and deliver to customer using Storytelling skills
  • ensuring documentation is in the enterprise data catalog as appropriate
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements regarding data analysis and research related to activities above.
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders to understand user requirements and ensure data accuracy and availability. This could include ITS, Legal, InfoSec, Marketing, Business Partners, etc.
  • Perform data cleaning and data wrangling for analysis and analytics modelling.
