About The Position

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Controls Intern to join our team and tackle real-world robotics challenges. In this role, you will develop your coding skills on a production-level codebase, be comfortable reading and writing modern C++ code, collaborate with other engineers daily, and help advance our state-of-the-art autonomous trucking platform.

Requirements

• Field(s) of study: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields
• Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university
• Juniors, Seniors, or graduate students
• Excited to work on autonomous trucks that are running in the real world
• Knowledge of controls fundamentals
• Experience with embedded systems (e.g., CAN)
• Motivated by challenging problems without clear-cut solutions

Nice To Haves

• Comfort with vehicle dynamics and modeling
• Experience with safety-critical systems
• Experience with systems engineering practices
• Knowledge of modern revision tracking systems (e.g. git)

Responsibilities
