2026 Summer Intern - Bingol Lab, Neuroscience Department Summary An internship position is available for a highly motivated and independent scientist to join the laboratory of Baris Bingol in the Department of Neuroscience at Genentech. The Bingol lab investigates the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, with a particular focus on neuronal and glial proteostasis. This position will center on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of lysosomal and mitochondrial quality control in the context of neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site.
