We are seeking a motivated intern with a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to join the Engineering Business Insights team. This role will support the development and deployment of intelligent systems by assisting in data preparation, model development, and performance evaluation. The AI/ML intern will gain hands-on experience with real-world datasets and contribute to projects that drive innovation in predictive analytics, automation, and decision intelligence. This position is ideal for someone passionate about applying data science techniques to solve complex business problems. This internship is scheduled to begin in May or June 2026.

  • Support data scientists and engineers in developing, training, and deploying AI/ML models
  • Prepare structured and unstructured data for model training and evaluation
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insights
  • Implement and evaluate basic ML algorithms using standard metrics
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights
  • Document workflows, assumptions, and results for reproducibility
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions on AI/ML applications
  • Stay current on AI/ML trends and suggest improvements
  • Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
  • Manage time effectively and maintain high attention to detail
  • Collaborate across teams to meet project goals
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
  • Basic understanding of ML concepts and algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, evaluation metrics)
  • Proficient in Python or R, with experience using libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy
  • Familiar with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control (Git) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
