  • Provides technical assistance to engineering staff and contributes by completing discrete engineering tasks on schedule.
  • Using company procedures, applies engineering knowledge to resolve aircraft related issues.
  • Miscellaneous technical test data generation and analysis.
  • Support of component and full-scale aircraft prototype and test activities during the lifecycle of Gulfstream products.
  • Interface with various internal organizations such as Production Engineering, Completions Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Product Support and Procurement as well as external suppliers.
  • Continues learning and developing knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise.
  • Capable of assisting senior engineers with writing test plans, test reports, and executing destructive and non-destructive test.
  • Familiar with laboratory experiments having completed at minimum entry level Chemistry with lab.
  • Demonstrated participation within an Engineering club or organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Enrolled as a full-time student at time of application, actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or above.
  • Complete their freshman year by the time the internship starts.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
  • Minimum 12-14 week requirement (summer); 14-16 week requirement (spring and fall).
  • Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Engineering: Mechanical, Civil, Materials Science, Aerospace, Chemical, Chemistry, Metallurgical or equivalent technical degree.
