About The Position

The Summer 2026 Graduate Intern position will work with FINRA's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), which identifies and assesses emerging risks and threats in the securities industry and provides impactful intelligence for our internal and external stakeholders. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will support intelligence operations, conduct research on market trends and vulnerabilities and collaborate closely with FINRA's cyber teams, analytics teams and the FINRA Intelligence Fusion Center. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to protecting investors and maintaining market integrity while developing skills in financial intelligence, regulatory oversight and threat assessment. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a graduate program in intelligence, cyber security, economics, data analytics or a related field, and possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate for this Summer intern position will be a Graduate Student in either their 1st or 2nd year of the program and must have a background in Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cryptocurrncy or Intelligence
