Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, work ethic, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams as well as demonstrated ability to understand broad business and financial issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

Responsibilities

  • Participate in quarterly financial reporting including preparing and validating the data included in Form 10-Q.
  • Perform data validation over quarterly earnings materials, including our investor factbook and earnings release.
  • Cross-team with multiple functions including accounting, tax, legal and investor relations during the earnings cycle.
  • Interact with external auditor and assist with data requests for the quarterly review.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed for management.
