About The Position

Flint Hills Resources (FHR), a Koch company, operates refineries, pipelines and terminals that produce, store and market gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and asphalt. We are hiring for Summer 2026 Environmental Interns for our refinery in Corpus Christi, TX. FHR interns collaborate within our teams on real life projects and challenges. As an Environmental Engineering Intern, you'll invest in your future while learning about various environmental regulations and permitting requirements, monitoring and sampling processes, and data analysis and management. Interns are assigned individual projects as well as mentors to help them pave their way to success. Our 12-week in-person internships located at our refineries offer you a first-hand look at the opportunities available to you in the industry as well as our company.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a 4 year degree program majoring in Environmental Engineering or Science, Chemical Engineering or other related science, engineering, or environmental field.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2027.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
