  • Collaborate with engineering teams in areas such as mechanical design, structures, powertrain, aerodynamics, electrical systems, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Support the design and analysis of components, assemblies, and systems for high-performance vehicles.
  • Assist with CAD modeling, simulation, prototyping, and validation testing.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to support engineering decisions.
  • Document technical work, present findings, and contribute to cross-functional problem-solving.
  • Participate in day-to-day engineering activities within a fast-paced R&D and production environment.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Ability to work onsite in Torrance, CA.
  • 40+ hours of weekly availability for 12 consecutive weeks (summer 2026).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong academic record with a passion for automotive technology, performance vehicles, and advanced manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, or similar) and basic understanding of engineering analysis (FEA, CFD, etc.) preferred.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or other programming tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
  • Active leadership in Formula SAE, Baja, Hyperloop, rocket, UAV, or design teams.
  • Prior project, lab, or internship experience in advanced manufacturing or product development.
