What It's Like The Messaging team plays a critical role at T-Mobile by delivering reliable and scalable messaging services that support both consumer and enterprise communication. These services enable text, picture, and application-to-person (A2P) messaging, which are essential for campaigns, one-time passwords (OTP), notifications, and business‑critical communications. By ensuring secure, high‑quality messaging, the team helps drive customer engagement, trust, and revenue growth. An intern on the Messaging team supports this mission by assisting with service monitoring, data analysis, documentation, and testing of messaging platforms, while gaining hands‑on exposure to large‑scale telecom systems and cross‑functional collaboration. What You'll Do The individual will be responsible for building automation for messaging services and developing Power BI reports to streamline processes, support operational efficiency, and reduce time to market. This includes designing automated workflows that enhance service reliability, eliminate manual effort, and improve visibility into key performance metrics. Additionally, the role will involve collaborating with cross‑functional teams to understand reporting needs, optimize dashboards, and ensure data accuracy. Through these efforts, the intern will contribute to enabling faster decision‑making and supporting the continued growth of T‑Mobile’s messaging ecosystem.
