Requirements

  • In order to be considered for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing an accredited degree program.
  • This position is specifically looking for candidates who are in graduate school.
  • Understand the basic semiconductor device and basic circuit operation.
  • Experience doing measurements with lab equipment like IV meters, CV meters, Oscilloscopes.
  • Programming of hardware and test applications.
  • Experience with Python, LabView, C or VB.
  • The ability to solve problems individually or as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A student who is enrolled (or will be in Fall 2026) in a graduate program in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Systems Engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally you would have experience with semiconductor measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Wafer level measurements on test structures using semiconductor parameter analyzers
  • Writing and running test programs on our Keysight/Agilent automatic parametric test systems (code in Rocky Mountain Basic or C)
  • Testing ESD (electrostatic discharge) devices using TLP (transmission line pulse) testers
  • Writing scripts to summarize large amounts of data using appropriate scripting languages
  • Performing noise measurements using a flicker noise system
