About The Position

The purpose of this internship is to assist with executive decision making by analyzing and reporting on a particular segment(s) within the corporation. This would include commercial and consumer banking, investor reporting, data analytics, and various support areas within the bank. You will gain knowledge of how a bank operates and have exposure to both the balance sheet and income statement while gaining an understanding of the main income and expense drivers of the business. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of business and finance to real world scenarios within our corporation. Requirements

• Needs to be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program with a major in areas such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing or Information Technology
• High School or GED

Responsibilities

• Performing data analysis in response to a specific business question
• Presenting results of analysis using sound written and oral communication skills
• Provides analytical support to the finance team by performing ad hoc financial and statistical analysis
• Requires a highly analytical thought process; at times will be working with large amounts of data
• Creating financial and management reporting and variance analysis
• Displays teamwork; working well with others to achieve goals
• Ability to lead and follow with effectiveness; willing to voice opinion and ask questions
• Spend time interacting with other FNB business partners which may include: Retail, Commercial, Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, Mortgage and Insurance
• Participate and attend FNB related events/trainings that are scheduled for all Summer Interns
