About The Position

Looking for a summer internship that offers real responsibility and hands‑on experience? Join Global Gateway Advisors’ 2026 Summer Internship Program and work alongside experienced communications strategists on issues that matter. The Global Gateway Advisors Internship Program is designed to help graduating seniors develop real skills, professional judgment, and confidence by contributing to meaningful client work. Interns are fully integrated into our teams, supporting day‑to‑day communications projects, participating in brainstorming and learning sessions, and gaining firsthand insight into how a strategic communications consultancy works. What will you gain as a Global Gateway Advisors intern? Hands‑on experience supporting strategic communications counsel Exposure to client work across health, technology, international, and public affairs Ownership of an intern project aligned with your interests, culminating in an end‑of‑program presentation to the firm Collaboration with a team that brings deep expertise and a strong commitment to mentorship How to use AI tools to support research, writing, analysis, and project execution in accordance with firm policy

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • AI‑savvy, with the ability to apply emerging tools thoughtfully and responsibly
  • Interest in global issues and strategic communications
  • Solid research, writing, and editing skills
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize, and clearly communicate information
  • Effective time management in a fast‑paced environment
  • Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn
  • Willing to jump in where needed; comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Recent college grads and undergraduate students (graduating seniors)
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of other programs is a plus
  • Social media savvy, with experience using LinkedIn and other key social platforms; knowledge of social listening platforms is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Previous PR or communications experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Research and synthesize current issues and topics relevant to client work
  • Draft and edit communications materials, including media lists, pitches, and press releases
  • Monitor client news and produce media and social media reports that identify key themes and trends
  • Develop company, industry, and media backgrounders, as well as social listening reports
  • Lead an intern project aligned with your interests and the firm’s needs, with guidance from team members
