Summer 2026 - Cell Therapy/Bioengineering Internship

Bristol-Myers SquibbSeattle, WA
100d$27 - $29Hybrid

About The Position

This summer internship position is a hands-on, laboratory-based role in the BioEngineering & Technology Innovation group in Cell Therapy Research organization. The successful candidates (2 positions) will gain experience at the exciting interface of engineered T-cell biology, gene editing technology and cell therapy process development across research and manufacturing production scales. The successful candidate will support the design and execution of experiments, analysis of results, and communication of conclusions across teams. The intern will gain a deep understanding of responsibilities of the BioEngineering group as a whole and how those responsibilities fit into the larger cell therapy organization. With guidance from a manager, the candidate must be able to work independently and demonstrate good written and oral communication skills. The role will provide functional knowledge of laboratory equipment, gene editing and cell culture techniques, statistical software programs, and valuable exposure to the industry standards of CAR-T research and manufacturing. Upon completion of the internship, the candidate will have the opportunity to present their findings at an internal symposium. The full-time internship will take place June - August 2026.
