As a Software Engineering Intern on our Traditional Out-Of-Home (OOH) team, you’ll join a collaborative, fast-moving environment that feels startup-like but with the scale and impact of a global brand. You’ll work alongside a close-knit group of experienced engineers who value mentorship, ownership, and shipping meaningful work. What You’ll Do Throughout the summer, you’ll work on hands-on engineering projects that directly support the technology powering how out-of-home advertising is planned and purchased. You’ll contribute to building and modernizing UI components, assist with API integrations, and support enhancements to workflows that make OOH advertising more accessible and effective for businesses of all sizes. As part of an agile team, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver real product features. Your work will have tangible impact, helping improve the experience for advertisers using T-Mobile’s OOH platforms.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field (Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language; experience with JavaScript frameworks is a plus
  • Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows
  • Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setting, including regular in-office presence
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
  • Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, well-tested software solutions
  • Collaborate with engineers and product partners in an agile, cross-functional environment
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems and applications
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from mentors and peers
  • Contribute to projects with real business impact and engage in team meetings, demos, and learning sessions

Benefits

  • Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
  • Intern wages range from $26/hour to $47/hour.
