Requirements

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel

Responsibilities

• Conducting Internal Audits: Assisting in the evaluation of financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies and identify areas prone to fraud.
• Risk Assessments: Helping identify and assess potential risks to the organization and recommending enterprise-wide mitigation strategies.
• Compliance Monitoring: Supporting the monitoring of adherence to regulatory requirements, Sarbanes Oxley requirements, and internal standards.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data and preparing reports to support audit findings and risk assessments.
• Collaboration: Working closely with experienced professionals to gain insights and practical knowledge in risk management and compliance.
