About The Position

Actuarial interns will have a robust and rich corporate experience working closely with their manager and as an integral member of their assigned team.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or Graduate students with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later with a degree based in a field such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management or Computer Science and a GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Technical experience with any of the following platforms is a plus: Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic, Microsoft Access and SQL, or Python.
• Knowledge of finance, insurance industry, investment, or actuarial fields.
• Understanding of insurance products and operations.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial tasks which are of a mathematical and/or higher clerical nature.
• Compile and categorize data, documenting and verifying factors used in computations, such as those used in evaluating loss and expense reserves, preparing rate filings, schedules of statistics, financial statements, premiums, benefits and establishing rating and pricing levels.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
