About The Position

Requirements

• Enrolled in a technical or business-related Undergraduate or Graduate program.
• Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Advanced analytical skills and experience working on multiple assignments.
• Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
• Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
• Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of internal and customer-facing presentations.
• Review and summarize applicable Louisiana Public Service Commission proposed rules and orders.
• Support corporate initiatives related to customer choice, competitive threats, M&A activity, renewable expansion options, and MOUs.
• Support customer partnerships and MOU discussions for renewables and customer-specific sustainability plans.
• Support the Power Through program, distributed generation, non-wires alternatives, Geaux Green, and future expansions of products and services.
• Develop and support analyses required for ELL's retail and wholesale generation planning efforts.
• Develop and support analyses for ELL's transmission planning efforts.
