About The Position
In the role of Retail Banking Intern at F.N.B. Corporation, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of business and finance to real-world scenarios within our retail banking segment. This internship is designed to provide you with practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience as a retail banking professional. F.N.B. Throughout the internship, you will participate in various training programs, including Teller training, where you will learn to service customers on the Teller Line, and Platform training, where you will shadow employees during the lead calling, profiling, and account opening process. You will also have the chance to shadow Branch Managers or Business Development Officers on outside business calls and attend Workplace Banking presentations. Additionally, you will interact with other FNB business partners, including Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, and Business Banking, as well as Retail leadership, including Regional Banking Executives and Market Managers. The internship will also include participation in FNB-related events and trainings scheduled for all Summer Interns. Our internship programs are designed to ensure you gain valuable skills in your field of study while providing networking opportunities with professionals throughout the organization. Over the course of the internship period, you will gain hands-on experience working for a dynamic and innovative organization while learning about the financial services industry. You will work directly with assigned business leaders and professionals on various projects and assignments, participate in networking events and meetings, and engage in corporate training opportunities to further aid in your professional development.
