About The Position
In the role of Retail Banking Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of business and finance to real-world scenarios within our retail banking segment. This internship is designed to provide you with practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience as a retail banking professional. Throughout the internship, you will participate in various training programs, including Teller training, where you will learn to service customers on the Teller Line. You will also engage in Platform training, shadowing employees during the lead calling, profiling, and account opening processes. Additionally, you will have the chance to shadow Branch Managers or Business Development Officers on outside business calls, attend Workplace Banking presentations, and interact with other FNB business partners, including Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, and Business Banking. The internship is structured to ensure you gain valuable skills in your field of study while providing networking opportunities with professionals throughout the organization. You will work directly with assigned business leaders and professionals on various projects and assignments, participate in networking events, and attend corporate training opportunities to further aid in your professional development. This experience will enhance your leadership skills and provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how banks operate to satisfy the needs of businesses and consumers.
