About The Position

Requirements

• Enrolled as a student in Finance, Public Policy, Accounting, or a related business major during the current school year.
• Outstanding academic performance with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Relevant internship or work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization is desired.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel.
• Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, and adaptability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in municipal finance consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with public sector financial regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client engagements involving capital improvement and economic development projects.
• Develop cash flows and prepare financial reports.
• Calculate tax projections and conduct research.
• Assist with analysis of information and compliance reports related to bond issues.
• Participate in intern orientation and training programs to enhance skills.
• Engage in real work experiences to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting.
