About The Position

The MBA Internship at Walmart is an 11-week paid program designed for MBA students graduating between December 2025 and August 2026. This internship provides an opportunity to work on meaningful projects within the Walmart Energy Transformation team, which focuses on achieving Walmart's energy-related regenerative goals. Interns will network with industry experts, develop their skills, and contribute to the decarbonization efforts of Walmart's operations and its impact on customers, associates, and communities.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in an MBA degree program or relevant Masters Degree program.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026.
  • 1-3 years of full-time relevant experience.
  • Passion for solving problems leveraging data and technology.
  • Interest in the Energy Transition space, including distributed generation and energy efficiency.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and cash flow modeling.
  • Collaboration-first working style.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in investment banking, project finance, or energy or commodity markets.
  • Majors in Finance, Business or Economics, Energy or Environmental Studies, or Engineering.
