About The Position

This internship program is designed for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the road, highway, and bridge construction industry. As an intern, you will be immersed in a family-focused and progressive culture that emphasizes safety and efficiency, making us a leader in the heavy and highway construction sector. Our team of talented and experienced mentors will guide you through practical experiences that will be invaluable as you prepare for your career after graduation. Internship opportunities are available in various fields, including Engineering and Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Design Engineering, Land Surveying, Construction Materials Management, Aggregate Site Management, Asphalt Plant Management, Safety Management in Construction and Manufacturing, Information Technology, Technical Support, and Marketing. The locations for these internships vary, with positions available in cities such as Waukesha, Madison, Kenosha, Jackson, Appleton, Green Bay, Wausau, and Ishpeming. This diverse range of opportunities allows interns to explore different aspects of the construction industry while working on exciting state, municipal, federal, and commercial projects. Ideal candidates for these internships are those majoring in relevant fields such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Geology, Project Management, Occupational Safety, Information Technology/Computer Science, and Marketing. A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required, along with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
