About The Position

The Summer 2025 Internship Program at dsm-firmenich offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global flavors, fragrances, and ingredients organization. As an Applications Intern in the Sweet Goods and Dairy team, you will work on real business projects, develop professional skills, and network with peers and leadership. This internship is designed to prepare you for a fulfilling career by providing exposure to various areas of the business and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Currently working on completion of a bachelor's degree in food science or related field.
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 9, 2025 - August 14, 2025.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Experience with working in a pilot plant or food processing environment.
  • Skills related to formulating and evaluating food and beverage products.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage strategic projects for dairy and alternative dairy applications.
  • Product development and pilot plant processing of various foods and beverages.
  • Organize and manage internal evaluations of flavor technologies.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data from flavor evaluations.
  • Support active customer briefs for a range of clients.
