About The Position
Ally Financial is seeking motivated individuals for a 10-week paid Finance Internship program that will run from May 20, 2025, to August 1, 2025. This internship is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world business experience, providing interns with the opportunity to work in various finance and treasury areas. Interns will engage with diverse teams across the country, gaining insights from Ally's leadership and participating in hands-on projects that enhance their skills in financial analysis, reporting, and data analytics. The internship program includes a formal company orientation and training, an executive speaking series, and mentorship from experienced professionals. Interns will have the chance to summarize and analyze financial data, develop effective communication skills, and lead presentations at the end of their assignments. The program emphasizes leadership and career development, offering networking opportunities that can help interns build valuable connections in the finance industry. Interns will work 40 hours a week in an in-person setting with some flexibility, allowing them to apply their classroom knowledge in a practical environment. The internship covers various areas of finance, including Corporate Treasury, Enterprise FP&A/Investor Relations, Consumer Bank Finance, Dealer Financial Services Finance, and Finance Transformation. Each area will provide unique responsibilities and learning experiences, ensuring that interns gain a comprehensive understanding of the financial services sector.
